# Meta Platform Data Deletion Instructions
According to Meta Platform rules (Facebook and Instagram), apps that access user data must provide a clear way for users to request the deletion of their personal data.
If you have interacted with The Presence Forge apps, website, or our virtual AI assistant (Emma) on Facebook Messenger or Instagram Direct, and you wish to request the deletion of your data, you can do so by following the instructions below.

### How to Request Data Deletion
You can request the deletion of your personal data held by The Presence Forge through any of the following methods:
#### Method 1: Email Request (Recommended)
1. Send an email to **contact@thepresenceforge.com** with the subject line “**Meta Data Deletion Request**“.
2. In the body of the email, please provide:
* Your full name.
* The platform you used to interact with us (Facebook or Instagram).
* Your username, profile URL, or phone number used during the interaction.
3. We will process your request and delete all associated data (chat history, contact information, onboarding details) from our servers within **48 hours**. We will send you a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
#### Method 2: In-App Message
1. Go to the chat window on Facebook or Instagram where you interacted with our virtual assistant Emma.
2. Send the message: **DELETE MY DATA** or **EXCLUIR MEUS DADOS**.
3. Our automated backend will flag your account, and our compliance team will purge your conversation logs, lead status, and phone numbers from our database.

### What Data is Deleted?
When you request data deletion, we permanently erase:
* Your Facebook/Instagram user ID and public profile data cached in our system.
* Complete chat logs and message history with our virtual assistant Emma.
* Any contact info (email, phone number, website URL) provided during the conversation.
* Any questionnaire responses or temporary proposal records.
*Note: Data required for active billing, active service contracts, or legal compliance (such as official tax or electoral records held by our local partners) will be retained only for as long as required by applicable laws.*
